The Tuesday after Thanksgiving which is Nov. 28th, 2023, is a National Day of Giving. Stanton House Museum annual operating costs exceed $30,000 — and we reply on the donations from generous people like you to pay the bills.

In an effort to conserve heat, the Adam Stanton House & Museum thermostats are kept at a minimum and curtains are drawn during the winter months. However, the fuel bill is still a big chunk of our expenses at $1,095 per fuel delivery.

So, please, be part of our “Giving Tuesday • Help Keep the Stanton House Warm”. Make a donation today (you don’t need to wait), large or small, because every penny helps!!

Donations may be made online by clicking on “DONATE” below on this www.adamstantonhouse.org or checks may be made payable to the Adam Stanton House, Inc., and mailed to Adam Stanton House, P.O. Box 63, Clinton, CT 06413. The museum is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, Contributions made to the Adam Stanton House are tax deductible.

The Stanton museum is an historic house of national importance. Having never left the Stanton family, the house retains its original furnishings and is a true time capsule in the way few such museums are. It’s also architecturally exceptional, notably for its large scale and presence of an authentic 18th century general store.
