Ghost Walks

  • Wednesday, Oct 26, and Thursday, Oct 27, 2016 at 6:00, 6:30, & 7:00pm

Chills, frights, and a bit of history await those who attend the Clinton Historical Society's annual Ghost Walks which will once again feature the popular cemetery tours by lantern light.  Guests will visit inside the 1791 Stanton House, learn about haunted homes along Main Street, and see Clinton's long-dead characters come back to life in the dark of the Indian River Cemetery. Tours of Old Brick will also be available that night, while a crackling fire awaits visitors outside. Inside, refreshments will be served.  Wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain in the cemetery can be uneven. The tours begin at the Historical Society's campus, 103 E. Main Street.

The cost is $13 per person. Reservations are required, and the tours fill up quickly.  To reserve a place in a tour at 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00 p.m. on either October 26 or 27, please email CHSOldBrick@gmail.com. Be sure to leave your name, the time and date of the tour you wish to attend, and how many spots you wish to reserve. You will receive a return confirmation before the night of the tour.  Cash payment collected at the door.
